Are we facing a housing crash?

It seems the UK housing market is heading for a very painful fall within the next 18 months….maybe time to take stock.
I picked up this article Fears Of Housing Market Crash Among UK Residents
Now don’t get me wrong we should be careful in the amount of debt we build up but when a “debt consultancy” firm tells us we are doomed I’m more inclined to think “whats in it for them”
Instead of a house price crash, more reliable sources have been telling us that ridiculous house prices will probably start to tail off but we should not see the type of mayhem that occurred in the late 80s/early 90s
Irresponsible headline targeting by debt firms just add to the confusion and all they are doing is trying to get their company name in the news based on very unsubstantiated proof.
